If you have been following me for a while you’ll know I’m not an advocate for fad diets or believing that drinking water with lemon and cayenne pepper will miraculously make you healthy/detoxed/happy. I believe that having a positive outlook towards food and cooking is an important part of feeling healthy and energised – but is actually something a lot of people struggle with. So, this is what my next series with The Studio is going to celebrate.
In the lead up to spring we’re going to have a 6-week spring clean! Now before you go and chuck out all the supposedly unhealthy foods and reach for the kale this is not what it’s all about. It’s a series based on enjoying more whole foods, packing in our antioxidants & phytonutrients (the substances found in plants that are believed to be beneficial for us humans) celebrating the foods that make us feel good, trying out new ingredients, and bringing a positive mindset into spring.
